Rooms at the Inn.
In its present state, the Stein Inn dates from 1790, although parts are known to predate this, making it the oldest inn on the Isle of Skye. If only stone and mortar could speak, what spell-binding tales could be told of old clan battles and daring escapades!
The air is rich with romance in this totally unspoilt and traditional inn. However, a happy medium has been struck between the the old days and modern times ensuring that discerning travellers are more than comfortable in the stylish and up to date ensuite bedrooms.
Available are four double rooms and one single room (graded as a 3 Star Inn and accredited as a Gold standard by Green Tourism Business Scheme, a sustainable tourism certification scheme). No two are the same and all offer stunning and uninterrupted views across Loch Bay. All rooms have ensuite facilities - why not try the Virtual Tour to see for yourself? To encourage rest and relaxation and leaving the world behind you, our rooms do not have televisions!!
Tariff
TARIFFS FOR 2013/14
From 23rd March 2013 our tariffs are from £37.00 to £55.00 per person per night for bed and full Scottish breakfast depending on size of room. Booking arrangements as above.
A deposit of 15 pounds per person per night is required to secure the accommodation.
Should you unfortunately have to cancel your booking 3 or more days beforehand then your deposit will be refunded less an administration fee of 10 pounds. Otherwise the deposit is non-refundable.

From November to March we shall be offering again our very popular
WINTER DEAL OF 3 NIGHTS FOR THE PRICE OF 2.
As a family-run establishment, the Stein Inn is only too happy to welcome other families - two of the double rooms can accommodate parents with up to two children.
Well-behaved dogs are also welcome to stay at the Stein Inn, for which there is a small charge. Please note that all rooms are non-smoking.
Policy on dogs in the Inn
We do not allow dogs in the public rooms between 6pm and 9.30pm.
Dogs are welcome out with these hours if we are not too busy and at the discretion of the bar staff.
Guide Dogs are welcome at all times and everywhere.
